The funeral of Floyd Smith was held at the Baptist church Friday, Aug 8, with a large crowd in attendance. Many relatives from away were present. The Rev. Mitchell of Commerce Oklahoma officiated. A quartet, composed of the Rev. Hicks, Mrs. Allie Moore, Mr. D. C. DeVilliers, and T. O. Buzzard, sang. Burial was in Miami cemetery. Mr. Smith was 23 years old and had been ill a long time. He leaves a father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Smith, a brother, Delbert Smith, and five sisters, Mrs. Bertha Edwards and Mrs. Fern Rich, Sterling Kansas, Mrs. Letha Howard, Anderson Missouri, Mrs. Lela Shockley, Neosho Missouri, and Miss Ruby Smith of Quapaw.

23 years old, died at his home at Quapaw Oklahoma late yesterday with tuberculosis. He is survived by his parents, two brothers and four sisters. The funeral will be held from one of the churches at Quapaw tomorrow afternoon at 2. The Rev. Mitchell of Quapaw, will conduct the services and burial will be in the Miami cemetery, under the direction of the Green undertaking company.

Smith, of Quapaw Wednesday from tuberculosis, was held from the Baptist church at Quapaw this afternoon at 2. The Rev. Mitchell conducted the services and burial was in the Miami cemetery.
