W. B. Schmucker has sold the Glory B theater in Miami to Frank Slaton. The transaction was consummated Wednesday and Mr. Slaton is now owner of the property. The Glory B is located on South Main, and has not yet been completed. The theatre has been leased to the Humphrey Amusement company, and will be open Oct 10th with pictures. The building is not yet completed, but under the terms of the sale Mr. Schmucker is to finish the building and turn it over to the new owner. The property was sold for $35,000, and is considered a fair price. Mr. Slaton is a wealthy mine operator of Tar River Oklahoma, who has considerable interest in this city, and is one of the most enterprising men in the county.
