died Apr 1, 1946, age 59, at his home in northwest Picher Oklahoma at 9 a.m. A veteran of World War I, he had worked in the Tri-State mining district for several years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rose Skiver of the home; a son, Bill Skiver of Idaho Falls Idaho; a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Comba, address unknown; three stepsons, Charlie Dearinger and Ralph Dearinger, both of Picher, and Gale Dearinger of Sidney Australia; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Angeline Sappington of Cardin Oklahoma, Mrs. Margarete Brookshire of Picher and Mrs. Lola France of Picher; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Paine of Konawa Oklahoma, and Mrs. Rose Barnes of Los Angeles California, and three brothers, Charlie Skover, Bert Skiver and Jack Stiver, all of Mountain home Arkansas.

Funeral services for Levi Skiver, Picher hard rock lead and zinc miner, will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Durnil chapel. The Rev. W. H. Hawes will officiate. Skiver, a World War I Veteran, died at his home in northwest Picher, at 9 o'clock Monday morning. Burial Apr 3, 1945, at the G.A.R. cemetery at Miami, where military services will be conducted by the Picher post of the American Legion. Durnil funeral home, Picher, is in charge.
