82, Picher Oklahoma, died this morning at the St. John Extended Card Center, Joplin Missouri. Born Jun 9, 1902 in Humansville Missouri, Mr. Simmons moved to Picher in 1920 from Springfield Missouri. He had worked as a mill man in the lead and zinc mines. He also had worked for Miami Products and the Crane Manufacturing company in Miami until his retirement in 1967. The only immediate survivor is his wife, Mrs. Rubye A. Simmons, of the home. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Paul Thomas funeral home, Picher.
