Funeral services for Charles W. Sill, 69 year old retired hard rock lead and zinc miner, will be conducted at the Assembly of God church in Quapaw Oklahoma at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Norman Johnson, pastor, and the Rev. Franklin Simmons of Commerce will officiate. Sill, a resident of Quapaw for 25 years before moving to Commerce two years ago, died in Miami Baptist hospital early Sunday after a short illness. His home was at 808 East A Street in Commerce. He was a member of the Assembly of God church in Quapaw. Survivors include two sons, Charles P. Sill, Commerce, and Marice Sill, Joplin Missouri; three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Fay Walker, Wichita Kansas, Mrs. Zelma Ingle, McGill Nevada, and Mrs. Vera Mishler, Baxter Springs, 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers, all nephews, will be Marvin Sill, Roy Sill, Homer Sill, Dewey Sill and Chester Sill and Clarence Atwood. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami under direction of the Hunter funeral home of Picher Oklahoma. The body will lie in state at the mortuary chapel until the funeral hour.
