a miner 30 years old, who claims Picher Oklahoma as his home, is reported to be in a serious condition at St. John's hospital, Joplin Missouri, as the result of taking a quantify of mercury tablets, according to Joplin papers, which say that Sidberry was out walking in Joplin Thursday night with Miss Ada Murray, 2510 Moffett avenue, when he complained of having a headache and took a box of tablets from his pocket and swallowed several, claiming afterward that he thought they were aspirin tablets. He is being attended by Dr. E. Albert Chenoweth, who reports that Sidberry has slight chances of recovery.

Miles Edward Sidberry, Note: Two different spellings of name, 31 years old, who took poison pills claiming to have mistaken them for aspirin last Friday night died at 9:30 last night at St. John's hospital, in Joplin. Sidberry was walking with Miss Ada Murray, when he complained of a headache and took the pills from his pocket, and swallowed them. Shortly after he realized his mistake, according to his statement and was taken to the hospital where he was treated by Dr. J. A. Chenoweth. Coroner Hurlbut said last night that he would hold an inquest over the body at 4:30 this afternoon. Sidberry, who lived at Picher, is survived by his mother, Mrs. Sarah Sidberry, three sisters, Mrs. Emma Brown and Mrs. Archie McIntire of Topeka Kansas, and Mrs. Onna Beard of St. Louis Missouri, and two brothers, Pat Sidberry of Picher, and Joe Sidberry of Flat River Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 2 tomorrow afternoon from the Hurlbut chapel of Mount Hope cemetery of Joplin.
