Abstract Data

A long-time resident of Cardin Oklahoma, died Jun 23, 1945, age 54, at 1:30 o'clock Saturday morning in Zamora New Mexico, where he had lived with relatives since April. Shroyer, a member of the First Christian church of Cardin, is survived by his widow; two sons, Glen Shroyer, of Zamora, and Ray Shroyer, of Cardin; a daughter, Thelma, also of Zamora; and a brother, Charley Shroyer, of Pennsylvania. He had been an employee of the Eagle-Picher Mining Company several years prior to his death. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral services for H. H. Shroyer, will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the First Christian church at Cardin with the Rev. J. W. Umphries officiating. Burial on Jun 25, 1945, will be in the Fullerton cemetery near Carthage Missouri, under the direction of the Durnil funeral home, Picher. Shroyer is survived by his wife, Delorrah; two sons, Ray Shroyer of Cardin, and Glenn Shroyer of Zamora; one daughter, Mrs. Cecil Swinehart, Fairview, Oklahoma; a brother, Charley Shroyer of Meyer Pennsylvania, and five grandchildren.
