Shouse, John David

...had lived in Commerce since 1919, moving there from Cardin Oklahoma. He was a former lead and zinc driller and was a member of the First Christian church of Commerce. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hazel Riggs Shouse, of the home; two sons, John R. Shouse, Lovin, Huntsville Arkansas, and J. D. Shouse, Wichita Kansas; one stepson, Bill Shinn, Paramount California; one step-daughter, Mrs. Arlene Riggs, Independence Missouri; three brothers, Pollard Shouse, Commerce, Calvin Shouse, Springfield Missouri, and Ivan Shouse, Lakewood California; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Peterson, Commerce, Mrs. Audrey Leonard, Olympia Washington, Mrs. JoBeth Harrod and Mrs. Eulah Turner, both of Miami; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
