Services for Shipman, who died Monday will be held at the First Baptist church of Hockerville Oklahoma at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, the Rev. E. L. Zimmerman officiating and the Rev. Leslie Couch assisting.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist church for Thomas L. Shipman, 54 years old, who died at his Hockerville home Monday evening. Mr. Shipman, formerly a miner, had lived in this district 18 years. Surviving besides his wife, are three sons, Jack Shipman, Earl Shipman and Clarence Shipman, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Vernon Couch of Hockerville and Mrs. Ruth Waller of North Carolina. Burial was in Baxter Springs Kansas under the direction of the Durnil funeral home, Picher.
