Shipman, John T.

was born in 1885, at Pierce City Missouri, and died Friday, Jul 1, 1921, at the home of his brother Irvin Shipman in Afton Oklahoma, where he had been ill for the past several months, suffering from miners' tuberculosis. Besides the brother mentioned, he is survived by another brother, one sister, Mrs. Lewis Hankins and his mother of Pierce City. Burial took place Saturday afternoon in the Pierce City cemetery at 2 o'clock. Services were held at the grave, the Odd Fellows lodge having charge. Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Shipman attended the funeral from Afton Oklahoma.
