35 years old, a miner, who lived in Miami until a month ago, died at his home in Joplin Missouri, at 4:30 this morning. Funeral services will be held at the 2:30 Friday afternoon at the Shoal Creek Baptist church in Joplin, conducted by the Reverend Morrison and burial will be in Forest Park cemetery there. Mr. Sherwood is survived by his wife, Myrtle M. Sherwood, and one daughter, Leona Sherwood; his father, Charles J. Sherwood of Joplin; three brothers Everett Sherwood and Hiram Sherwood, both of Picher Oklahoma, and Fred Sherwood of Minneapolis Minnesota; and three sisters, Mrs. Harrison Sherer of Picher, Mrs. J. E. Stanley of Independence Kansas, and Mrs. Earl Hobson of Ignacio Colorado.
