Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jewell Shepherd of the home; eight sons, Jack Shepherd, Fresno California, A. J. Shepherd, Wichita Kansas, Jimmy Shepherd, Joplin, Raymond Shepherd, Kansas City Missouri, Donald Shepherd and Norman Shepherd, both of Indianapolis Indiana, Tommy Shepherd, Jefferson City Missouri and Freddie Shepherd, Chino California; five daughters, Mrs. Genevieve Gandy, Commerce, Mrs. Cathleen Moses, Pico Rivera California, Mrs. Vera Jean Domingos, Tipton Missouri, Mrs. Neba Ann Bowman, Spring Valley California, and Mrs. Margie Port, Anaheim California; two brothers, Mark Shepherd, Fort Smith Arkansas, and Dal Shepherd, Mulberry Arkansas; 30 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
