43 year old former miner and Miami barber, was found dead in his hotel room in Tulsa Oklahoma Thursday night. Death was attributed to natural causes. Seamon was employed as a welder in Tulsa at the time of his death. He had been in ill health since 1948. A Tri-State district lead and zinc miner for about 20 years, Seamon also worked as a barber in local shops. Born in Galena Kansas, he had lived in Miami for more than 30 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Irene Seamon; a son, Paul Douglas Seamon, and two daughters, Janet Seamon and Laura Sue Seamon, all of the home at 135 C Street northeast, Miami; his mother, Mrs. D. A. Spellman, and a brother, Fred Seamon, both of Miami. Funeral services were to be conducted in the Cooper chapel at 2 p.m. today. The Rev. Oscar Fontaine, pastor of the First Methodist church, was to officiate. Pallbearers included Myron Roberts, Charles Osborne, Albert Lee and Nelson Skidgel, Jr., and Harry Kelly. Burial was to be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
