a resident of Cardin Oklahoma for the past 25 years, died at his home at 11 o'clock this morning after an illness of several weeks. He was 60 years old. An employee of the Eagle- Picher Company, Scott belonged to the Full Gospel church here and the Ottawa Masonic lodge No. 478 at Picher Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Bessie Scott; his mother, Mrs. Laura Henderson, of Kansas City Missouri; two daughters, Emma Mae Scott of the home and Mrs. Eugenia Richardson, Pensacola Florida; a son, Willard Scott, of Pensacola; two step-sons, Thetus Grandee and Douglas Grandee, both of Denver; a brother, Alex Scott, Kansas City, and two sisters, Mrs. Tessie Hicklin Kansas City, and Mrs. Zelma Thompson, Compton California The body was received by the Thomas funeral home of Picher.

Funeral services for Thomas Jacob Scott, 60 year old Cardin resident who died at his home there Wednesday, will be conducted at the Full Gospel church in Cardin at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Jack Perry will officiate. He will be assisted by the Rev. Albert Terry. Members of the Ottawa Masonic lodge No. 478 in Picher will act as pallbearers and conduct Masonic rites at the grave in Huntsville Arkansas. Burial will be under direction of the Thomas funeral home of Picher.
