Funeral services for Jake Russell, 39 years old, who died at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at his home on South Walnut Street, Commerce Oklahoma, were held at 1 o'clock this afternoon at the Electric theater. The Rev. John Lynn officiated. The body was taken to Willard Missouri, this afternoon for burial. The Mitchelson undertaking company was in charge. Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Jessie Russell; six children, Charles Russell and Willard Russell and Harley Russell, Opal Russell, Violet Russell, Jewel Russell and Harvey Gene Russell, of Commerce; his father, William Russell of Willard; two brothers, Orville Russell and Ed Russell, of Springfield Missouri, and two sisters, Mrs. Mamie Porter of Willard and Mrs. Effie Bridges of Springfield. Mr. Russell had worked a miner in the district more than 10 years.

A short funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Electric theater for Jake Russell, who died Tuesday morning at his home on South Walnut Street after a lingering illness. The service was conducted by the Pentecostal minister, after which the body was sent to Missouri for burial.
