Rowe, Elmer

a former Picher Oklahoma resident, died at Wichita Kansas, last Thursday night as a result of being overcome by gas while asleep in his room, according to information received by a sister, Mrs. Effie McDonald, West B Street, Picher. Rowe left Picher about five years ago, going to Kansas City, where he worked for some time. He later went to Wichita to work. He lived in Picher many years, working as a miner. For some time he was a member of the Picher fire department. He was between 30 and 35 years old. Burial was at Wichita.
