Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jewel Rooney, of the home; one son, William Boyd Rooney, McAlester Oklahoma; five daughters, Mrs. Cora Mae Culver, Cedar Falls Iowa, Diane Craig and Sandra Rooney, both of McAlester, Gale Robinson, Saline Michigan, and Adele Brewster, London England; two stepsons, Lucky Fritts and William Kelly, both of Commerce; three step-daughters, Emily Davis, Little Rock Arkansas, Suzy Fritts, Commerce, and Judith Ann Aringe, Las Vegas Nevada; his mother, Mrs. Ella Rooney, Little Rock Arkansas; two brothers, Charles Rooney, Columbus Kansas, and Windell Rooney, Cardin Oklahoma and three sisters, Leona Phillips, Marcene Hensley and Faye Adams, all of Little Rock Arkansas.
