Abstract Data

a miner, 32 years old, who has lately been rooming at Commerce Oklahoma, fell dead on the sidewalk while walking on East Second Street at 6:20 Thursday night. Barbers at the DeLuxe barber shop saw the man fall in front of the shop and carried him inside. Dr. I. Phillips was called, but Rogers had died within a minute and a half after falling. The body was taken to the morgue of the Todd undertaking company, Picher, where he was identified as Piley' Rogers. He is survived by a brother, John Rogers; a stage employee at Joplin Missouri. The body was removed to the home of an aunt, Mrs. Mary Hinds, 1605 Moffett avenue, Joplin, today. The Hurlbut undertaking company will have charge of the funeral Saturday.
