died Feb 24, 2000, after a long illness. He was 75. He was born April 25, 1924, in Wyandotte Oklahoma, to Edgar Leslie Robinson and the former Hester L. Wallace. He lived in the Wyandotte area most of his life and graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1943. He worked in the Picher Oklahoma mines during World War II then for Boeing Aircraft in Wichita Kansas. He retired from Able Body, Inc., Joplin Missouri, in 1981. He owned and operated his own small engine repair business. His favorite pastimes included quail hunting, visiting with family and friends, and playing guitar and mandolin. Mr. Robinson married Merelene Faye Butterfield on Sep 29, 1951. She preceded him in death on Mar 7, 1990. He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, three sisters, and two grandchildren. Survivors include two sons, Bill Roberts, Longview Texas, and Darrell Robinson, Wyandotte; four daughters, Betty McCall, Beulah Griner, and Elaine Fidler, all of Wyandotte, and Terry Van Hooser, Seneca Missouri; a brother, Maurice Robinson, Wyandotte; a sister, Hazel Flener, Portland Oregon; 18 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Seneca Missouri. Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. George Clay officiating. Burial is in Wyandotte cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at the Campbell-Biddlecome funeral service, Seneca Missouri.
