A heart attack he suffered while buying food at the Doty grocery, 318 South Main Street, Miami, proved fatal today to John B. Roberts, of 419 A Street southwest, Miami. Mr. Roberts died Apr 20, 1955, age 70, at 11:20 a. m., shortly after the seizure occurred. A retired miner, Mr. Roberts had resided in Miami since 1929. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Flossie Roberts; a son, Orville Roberts of Long Beach California; three daughters, Mrs. Rex Beecher of Salt Lake City Utah, Mrs. Fred Dyches, Murray Utah, and Mrs. A. H. Hall, Commerce Oklahoma; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Cooper mortuary.

Funeral services for John B. Roberts, who died last Wednesday following a heart attack, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Cooper chapel. Elder Joe Johnson of Diamond Missouri, will officiate. Pallbearers will include Chester Brandon, Kenneth Brandon, Bill Bennett, Dick Roberts, Leo Carrington and Joe Herndon. Burial will be in Purcell Missouri cemetery.
