Age 61, of 215 South Ethel, Picher Oklahoma, died Sunday in Miami Baptist hospital. A Picher resident since 1918, Mr. Roberson had worked for the Commerce Mining and Royalty Company, and Eagle-Picher Company since 1923 before retiring about a year ago because of falling health. He moved to Picher from Pryor Oklahoma. He was a member of the Picher Baptist church and the Picher Masonic lodge. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lena Roberson; a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Mae Eulitt of Quapaw; a brother, Eull Roberson of Lamesa Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Jay W. Haire of Manhattan Beach California, and Mrs. Lewis Blew of Forth Worth Texas, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p Wednesday in the Paul Thomas funeral home chapel at Picher with the Rev. Ward Allen officiating. Pallbearers will be Jesse Cox, Johnny Brayfield, John Deatherage, Bert Richardson, Vernie Mears and Austin Keithley. The Picher Masonic lodge will conduct graveside services in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
