Funeral services for John Riley, 83, will be held at 2:30 pm Tuesday at the Assembly of God church in Commerce with the Rev. Elmo Beaver and Joe McElhaney officiating. Burial will be in the Ottawa cemetery, near Miami. Mr. Riley, a resident of Commerce Oklahoma 42 years and a retired miner, died Saturday at Miami hospital. He had been a patient there five days. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Roxie Cumton, who lives south of the New State road at Commerce; a son, Montie Riley, Richmond California; a step-son, Jake Parkinson, Oroville California, and two grand children. The body will lie in state at the Cumpton home until the funeral hour. Pallbearers will be Ducky Pierce, Paul Wiford, Jack Wyatt, Henry Harrison, Bill Searle and Dave Brown.
