37 year old district miner, died Sunday afternoon in the Jasper county Missouri hospital at Webb City Missouri. A resident near Diamond Missouri, most of his life, he had been in the hospital about eight months. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pearl Riggs; four sons, Jimmy Riggs, Everett Riggs, Freddie Riggs and Nathan Riggs, all of the home; three daughters, Barbara Riggs, Ruth Riggs and Clara Ann Riggs, all of the home; one brother, Wilbur Riggs, Silver Springs Oklahoma; and two sisters, Mrs. Oma Taylor, Neosho Missouri, and Mrs. May Morton, Commerce. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the Diamond Methodist church. Burial will be in the Diamond cemetery, under direction of the Goodson-Durnil funeral home, Picher Oklahoma.
