Rigg, Charles Thomas

A retired Picher Oklahoma hard rock lead and zinc miner, died Feb 25, 1947, age 86, at 3 Tuesday afternoon at his home, northwest of Picher. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ella Rigg; three sons, Homer Riggs, Burley Riggs and Albert Rigg, all of the home; one daughter, Mrs. John McCormick, Ardmore Oklahoma; one sister, Mrs. Estella Maddox, Goodman Missouri; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 Thursday afternoon in the first Baptist church at Picher. The Rev. Gloyde Lukeheart will officiate. Burial will be in the G.A.R. cemetery in Miami, under direction of Goodson-Durnil funeral home, Picher.
