59, a resident of Miami since 1916, died at 6 pm Saturday in Miami Baptist hospital where he had been a patient for the past two weeks. A water well driller, Rentfrow was forced by ill health to retire about eight years ago. In his youth Mr. Rentfrow worked with his father on a drill rig in the Tri-State Mining field. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bessie Rentfrow of the home at 216 K Street Northwest, Miami; a son, Billy Rentfrow of Miami; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Berryhill of Wichita Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Thomas of Miami and Mrs. Letta Everhart of Joplin Missouri; a brother Harl E. Rentfrow of Joplin and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the Cooper Chapel here at 2 pm Monday, Joe Ellis, associate minister of the first Christian church, will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
