age 61, old Tri-State district lead and zinc miner, died at his home, 703 South River Street in Picher Oklahoma, at 8:45 a.m. today. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Julia Redden of the home; nine daughters, Mrs. Edith Bryant, Mrs. Eva Sharbutt and Mrs. Juanita Thomas, all of the North Century section of Picher, Mrs. Opal Rowden of Picher, Mrs. Mable Sharbutt of Blue Mound Kansas, Mrs. Vella Smith of Commerce, and Peggy Redden and Joyce Redden, both of the home, and Mrs. Helen Madison of Cardin Oklahoma; six sons, Joe Redden and Mearl Redden, both of North Century, and Bob Redden, Troy Redden, Roy Redden and Jack Redden, all of Picher; two brothers, Ernest Redden of Baxter Springs Kansas, and Fred Redden, address unknown; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Meredith of Kellogg Idaho, 37 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Goodson-Durnil funeral home, Picher, is in charge of the body.

Funeral services for Burr F. Redden, 61 years old, will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Assembly of God church in Picher. The Rev. James Davis will officiate. Redden. a former district miner, died Friday morning at his home, 703 South River Street, in Picher. Pallbearers will be Ivan Lee, Tom Martin, Linys Daley, Oscar Coyer, Lit Martin and Arthur Conn. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery under direction of Goodson-Durnil funeral home of Picher.
