Elmer J. Reber, 68, of Fairland Oklahoma Route 2, died today at 5:20 am in his home. He was born Oct 17, 1904, in Indian Territory, and had lived all his life in the Ottawa and Delaware counties Oklahoma. He was a retired miner and custom hay bailer. He was a member of the Odd fellows lodge in Fairland. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Bertha J. Reber of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Loretta Tipton, Fairland; a son, Earnest E. Reber, Broken Arrow Oklahoma; one brother, Clifford Reber, Fairland; four sisters, Mrs. Dora Hartley, Citrus Heights, Mrs. Nola French, Miami, and Mrs. Nettie Burton, Baxter Springs. Service will be announced by the Cooper funeral home, Fairland.

Last rites for Elmer J. Reber will be held at 2 pm Thursday at the Fairland United Methodist church with the Rev. Harley Blackford officiating. The Rev. Mitchell Lowrey will assist. Burial will be in the Fairland cemetery under direction of the Cooper funeral home. Pallbearers will be L. W. Tipton, George Tipton, G. A. Callaway, Clyde Brown, Edgar Loehr and Marvin Kline. Mr. Reber, 68, Fairland Route 2 died Tuesday. In addition to survivors previously listed are two half-brothers; Frank McKinzie, Miami Oklahoma and Charles McKinzie, Picher Oklahoma.
