Abstract Data

Mrs. Nellie Real, wife, of David Real, a Lincolnville Oklahoma miner, committed suicide Monday morning at 7:30 using a 22 caliber rife. The bullet passed through the woman's heart. An attempt to shoot herself earlier in the morning was frustrated by her husband. While Real was dressing himself for his day's work in a nearby mine, the wife, walked out a short distance from the house with the gun, firing the fatal shot. Mrs. Real is a full blood Quapaw Indian, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Whitebird. She was married to Real two years ago. She leaves her husband and a daughter four years old. The body was taken in charge by her parents and will be buried at Lincolnville.
