34 years old, died at his home in the southeastern part of the city at 10 o'clock Saturday morning, following an attack of Spanish influenza. Rawlins was ill only a few days. Rawlins has lived in Miami Oklahoma the last two years, having come to this district from Joplin Missouri, in company with his father, and had several teams at work in the district hauling ore. Rawlins was well known in amateur baseball circles several years ago around the Joplin district. Besides his wife, Rawlins leaves his mother. The father died more than a year ago. The body will be shipped to Webb City Missouri Monday for burial in the Webb City cemetery.
