A. B. Rawlings, age 79 years, died at the family home on the Artisian addition, the east part of Miami, last Saturday. He had been ill but a short time, experiencing a complete and sudden physical breakdown which soon terminated in death. He was a large, powerful man, capable of great exertion, and will be remembered as an ore hauler, at which he excelled all others in the community. He always drove a big team, notable for its strength and appearance when compared with others. Funeral services were held at the house on last Sunday. The remains were taken to Webb City Missouri for burial. Rev. Stubblefield conducted the funeral. So far as could be learned, Forest Rawlings is his only surviving heir.
