17 years old, died from congestion of the lungs Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock, after an illness lasting less than a day. The previous day he worked at the Blue Mound Mine where he had been employed. Death occurred at the home of his father, Guy Rambo, on North Connell avenue, Picher Oklahoma. His mother is in Seattle Washington. Funeral arrangements are being delayed to receive word from relatives in Iowa. Burial will be in the Oak Hill cemetery, Galena Kansas. Three deaths from the same cause have been reported in Picher lately and in each case the deceased had survived a severe attack of influenza last winter. Note: This was the infamous Spanish flu.
