Picher, Oklahoma. Charles Rains, 30 years old, living three miles east of Ottawa, died of influenza at 9 o'clock Friday night. Rains lived with his parents Mr. and Mrs. William Rains. Besides the parents, surviving relatives include two bothers, Henry Rains of Douthat Oklahoma and Harry Rains of Ottawa Oklahoma, and one sisters, Mrs. Pansy Hahn of Denver Colorado. Rains worked at the New York Mine several years. Funeral services will be held at the Assembly of God church at 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon. The Rev. C. R. Hammond will officiate and burial will be at Oronogo Missouri, a former home of the Rains family. Pallbearers will be Lem Allgood, Verl Abel, Roy Hill, Martin Baird, Jim Perry and Glen Bouner. The funeral will be under direction of the Todd undertaking company, Picher.
