Final rites for Bryon Radford, 58 year old retired miner and resident of Baxter Springs Kansas for the last 15 years, will be conducted in the Fellowship Baptist church there at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Roy Walker will officiate. Burial will be in the cemetery at Lowell Kansas, under direction of the Wene funeral home of Baxter Springs. Radford, whose home was at 405 East 22nd Street in Baxter, died in the Columbus Kansas, hospital Wednesday night. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Opal Radford, of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Charles Garrison and Mrs. George Adams, both of Baxter Springs, Mrs. Gene Foster, Soap Lake Washington, and Miss Syble Radford of the home; three sons, Carl Radford, Galena Illinois, Sherman Radford, Baxter Springs Route 3, and Eugene Radford of Greenville South Carolina, two brothers, three sisters and 16 grandchildren. The body will lie in state at the family home in Baxter Springs from Saturday evening until the funeral hour.
