Hockerville Oklahoma...died Monday at his home after a brief illness...he had lived in Ottawa county for the last 49 years. He was a retired hard rock lead and zinc miner and a member of the Assembly of God church, at Picher Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife, Lavada Power, of the home; a son, Lawrence Richard Power, Tulsa Oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. Mary June Beets and Mrs. Lavada Ann Williams, both of Picher Oklahoma; a sister, Mrs. Ralph Smart, Kelso Washington. ...burial will be in Burrison cemetery, east of Peoria Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Ray Sharp, Wyan Sims, Cecil Mahurin, James Williams, Bob Power and Junior North. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Vanhoose, Jack Crockett and Kenneth Tucker.
