Abstract Data

Mrs. Millie Power, 25 years old, died yesterday at her home, 427 South Main Street, Picher Oklahoma after a brief illness. Mrs. Power was the wife, of Charles Power, who has been at a tubercular sanitarium at San Antonio Texas, for some time. Besides the husband, two children survive. Funeral services will be held at the home of Newt Keithley, at Sixth and Picher Streets, Picher at 1 o'clock this afternoon. The Rev. D. W. Breshear pastor of the First Methodist church will officiate. Burial will be in the Carterville Missouri cemetery by the Todd undertaking company, Picher.

Charles S. Power, 39 years old, died last night at the home of his sister, Mrs. Dora Mosier of Douthat Oklahoma. Death was due to tuberculosis and resulted after a lingering illness. Mr. Power had spent some time at a tubercular sanitarium at San Antonio Texas. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary E. Power, of Douthat; two children, six brothers and two sisters. The children are Pauline Powers, aged 7; and Eugene Power, 6. The brothers are James Power, N. J. Power, F. B. Power, Thomas Power, George Power and W. S. Power. The sisters are Mrs. Mosier and Mrs. Lillie McElroy. Funeral services will be held at the Baptist church in Douthitt.

Arrangements are being completed for sending Pauline Power and Charles Power, 5 and 7 years old, respectively, children of a deceased member of the Picher Moose lodge, to the children's home of the Moose lodge at Mooseheart Illinois. The children's mother also is dead. Gerald Hodge, past dictator of the Picher Moose lodge, says the children are being well cared for by the local organization preparatory to departure for Mooseheart.
