William Samuel 'Boy' Potts, died in Miami hospital where he had been a patient since Friday. A retired miner, he had been a resident of Ottawa county Oklahoma for 55 years and Miami for the last 15 years. He was an Army veteran of World War I and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Maudie Potts, of the home; a son, Williams S. Potts, Jr.; of Albuquerque New Mexico; a daughter, Mrs. Jack Wyrick of Chetopa Kansas and seven grandchildren.
