Funeral services for Sim Lloyd Potter, 52 year old miner who died at his home in Chetopa Kansas, Sunday afternoon, will be conducted at the First Baptist church in Picher at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Vernon Colinger of Chetopa will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami under direction of the Thomas funeral home. A resident of Chetopa for two years, Potter had been seriously ill since last July. He previously lived in Picher for 28 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillian Potter, and a son, Billy Potter, both of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Patty Ervin of Chetopa; his mother, Mrs. Mary Potter, Picher; two brothers, Archie Potter, Malvern Arkansas, and Cecil Potter, Regina Saskatchewan, Canada, and a grandson.
