Picher Oklahoma, Merril Bud Potter, 18 years old, 103 East Ninth Street, died at his home here last night after a short illness. Death was attributed to an attack of pneumonia. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Joe Potter; three brothers, Herman Potter of Alba Missouri, Pete Potter of Baxter Springs Kansas, and D. J. Potter of Picher, and two sisters, Mrs. Ed Rhoads and Mrs. Ada Potter, both of the home. The youth was an employee of the Dobson Mine. He had lived almost all his life in the Mineral Heights addition, Picher. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the First Baptist church. The Rev. Mrs. Lou Love of Galena Kansas will officiate. Pallbearers will be Woodrow Lane, Harvey Cooper, Ralph Cooper, Everett Watkins, Donald Curlee and Luther Edwards. Burial will be in Hillcrest cemetery under direction of the Lane funeral home.
