68 years old, died last night at his home, 12 miles northeast of Miami. He had been a resident in this vicinity for the last 20 years, and was a millman in the employee of the St. Louis Mining and Smelting Company for many years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rosa Potter; two sons, Oscar Potter and Bill Potter, both of Baxter Springs Kansas; three daughters, Mrs. Della Black of Dallas Texas; Mrs. Leona Gaston and Mrs. Theadus Sells, both of Baxter Springs; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 pm at the home, with the Rev. Robert Denton officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery at Galena Kansas under the direction of the Lane funeral home.
