50 year old zinc and lead miner died of a heart ailment at the Eastern Oklahoma hospital in Vinita Oklahoma at 10:30 pm Monday. His home was at 410 South Netta Street, Picher Oklahoma. A resident of the Tri-State district since 1918, Posey is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Betty Russo of Monterey California; three sons, Gene Posey and Bobby Posey, both of Richmond California, and Jack Posey of Monterey; his mother, Mrs. Celia Posey, and two brothers, James Posey and Bus Posey, all of Picher; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Snethen and Mrs. Maggie Looney, both of Kansas City Missouri, and Mrs. Daisy Sapp and Mrs. Frances Ferguson, both of Picher, and four grandchildren. Arrangements of services and burial will be announced by the Thomas funeral home.

Final rites for Hezikah Kie' Posey, Picher resident who died Monday in a Vinita hospital, will be held at 2 pm Thursday at the Free Will Baptist church in Picher. The Rev. Winford Davis will officiate. Interment will be in Hill Crest cemetery, Galena Kansas, under the direction of the Thomas funeral home of Picher. Pallbearers will be the Rev. Faires Crain, Romas Flowers, Edward Sells, A. G. Hattabaugh, Roy Redden and Troy Redden. The body will lie in state at the Posey residence, 410 South Netta Street, until the funeral hour.
