56, of 607 North Connell Avenue, Picher Oklahoma, died today at Miami Baptist hospital where he had been a patient since Thursday. Born on Nov 15, 1913, in Arkansas. Mr. Poole had been a resident of Picher for the past 50 years, moving there from Middleton Arkansas. Once an independent mine operator, he operated a grocery store in Picher for several years and was owner of Poole's Used Cars in Picher. He was a member of the Picher First Baptist church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Naomi Poole of the home, one son, Larry Poole and a daughter, Terri Poole, both of the home; two brothers, Harold Poole and George Poole, both of the Joplin Missouri area; a half brother, Albert Dennison, Picher; five sisters, Mrs. Phil Never, Brownell Kansas, Mrs. Louis Riley, Phoenix Arizona; Mrs. Eula Joe McNerney, La Mirada California, Mrs. Mazie Ashford, San Bernardino California and Mrs. D. Hock, Wilmington California.
