Pitts, Walter

34 years old, a former Picher Oklahoma resident, died yesterday at Roswell New Mexico, following a long illness. He was a son of Mark Pitts of Picher. He is also survived by three brothers, Harry Pitts of Roswell, and Frank Pitts and Lonnie Pitts of Picher and one sister, Mrs. Ivle Cook of Tulsa Oklahoma. The body will arrive in Picher Saturday morning. The funeral will be held at the Assembly of God church at 2 Sunday afternoon. The pastor, the Rev. C. F. Parker, will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami under direction of the Green undertaking company, Picher.
