Pitts, Claude

Funeral services for Claude Pitts, 37 years old, who died last Friday at Tucson Arizona, following a long illness due to tuberculosis, will be held at the Assembly of God church at 2 tomorrow afternoon with the pastor, the Rev. Parker, officiating. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami, under direction of the Green undertaking company, Picher. Mr. Pitts was a well known miner of the Picher Oklahoma district, having worked in the mines many years. He went to Tucson, Arizona, last June in the hope of benefitting his health. He was a son of Mark Pitts, residing in Blue Mound Kansas.
