Pitcher died Tuesday morning in his home on Neosho route 3 of an apparent heart attack. Mr. Pitcher had lived in the Neosho area since 1950, moving from Commerce Oklahoma. For 23 years, he had been employed wth Kansas X Mining Company and for the last four years with Youngman Construction company of Baxter Springs Kansas. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Commerce Masonic lodge. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Julia Pitcher; two daughters, Mrs. Vera Anderson, of Neosho route 5; a son, Harley Pitcher of the home; two brothers, Charles Pitcher of San Jose California, and Elza Pitcher of Redding California; three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Howell of Redding, Mrs. Edith Delmont of Columbus Kansas, and Mrs. Helen Mackin of Withee Wisconsin; and six grandchildren.
