Patty, John Elbert

father of Mrs. Harry A. Schehrer, 220 C Street, southwest, Miami, the News-Record's society editor, died early Saturday at Galena Kansas, after a prolonged illness. A Galena resident since childhood, he was 65 years old. Patty, who was employed for many years at the Eagle-Picher Smelter Company, Galena, also is survived by his wife; another daughter, Mrs. Robert L. Scott, Galena; two brothers, Elmer Patty, Yuma Arizona, and Sherman Patty, Baxter Springs Kansas; four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Spears, Vinita Oklahoma; Mrs. Irene Dodge, Lamar Colorado; Mrs. May Hammonds, Everett Washington, and Mrs. Cora Paradee, Los Angeles, and three grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Derfelt mortuary, Galena.
