Parsley, John Leslie

of Treece Kansas, 33 years old, died at the Picher Oklahoma hospital at 10:40 a.m. Friday. He had been a miner and had lived in this district for 20 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Retha Parsley; daughter, Treva Parley, at home; mother, Mrs. Julia Sikes, Duenweg Missouri.; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Gordon, Duenweg, and Mrs. Susie Bateman, Huntington Park California, and three brothers, Harry Parsley, San Baradino California; Charles Parsley, Los Angeles California, and Mosey Parsley, Willow Brook California. Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church at Treece at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon. Burial will be made in the G.A.R. cemetery at Miami with the Durnil funeral home, Picher in charge.
