a 65 year-old district miner, died at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Miami Baptist hospital. Parrish, who lived at 314 First avenue southwest, had been a resident of Miami for 26 years. He was a member of the Baptist church, the I.O.O.F. lodge and Picher Oklahoma local 15 of the International union of Mine, Mill and Smelter workers. Survivors include three sons, Bill Parrish Kansas City Missouri; Bert Parrish, Seattle Washington, and Lloyd Parrish of the home; one grandson, Bill Parrish Kansas City; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Dessie Craig, of the home; four brothers, W. E. Parrish, George Parrish, Jess Parrish and Jeff Parrish, all of Gordonville Texas; and one sister, Miss Pearl Parrish, Kingston, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Fish funeral home.
