41 year old miner, died at 8 o'clock Saturday night at his home at 517 North Netta Street, Picher Oklahoma. He had been in ill health about five months. Mr. Parmer was born Jul 10, 1910 at Welch Oklahoma, moving to this district in 1916, where he had been a resident since. He was a member of the Mennonite church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruby Parmer and four children, Charlene Parmer, Marcia Parmer, Dixie Parmer and Jimmy Parmer, all of the home; his mother, Mrs. Ada Parmer, of Picher; six sisters, Mrs. Lillie Reynolds, Mrs. Dolly Rigg, Mrs. Austphine Moore and Mrs. Josephine Marquis all of Picher, Mrs. Rachel Crockett of Miami and Mrs. Jessie Herrin of Ardmore Oklahoma; one brother, Walter Parmer of Picher. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Union church with the Rev. Roy Walker officiating. Burial was in the Greenlawn cemetery in Kansas, northwest of Picher Oklahoma and Treece Kansas, under the direction of the Morton Lundy funeral home. Pallbearers were Bob Asbell, George Walker, Clarence Crice, Virgil Fogleman, Edward Fogleman and Lloyd O'Byrne.
