resident of Baxter Springs Kansas, who died at the Veterans hospital at Muskogee Oklahoma at 1:10 pm, Sunday, will be held at the Full gospel Church in Quapaw Oklahoma at 2 Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. Robert Denton will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami under direction of the Wene funeral home of Baxter Springs. The 34 year old World War II veteran and lead and zinc miner is survived by his wife, Elnora Parker; three daughters, Gladys Parker, Carol Sue Parker and Ruth Ellen Parker; two sons, Eddie Parker and Robert Joe Parker, all of the home; his mother, Mrs. Gladys Doolen of Quapaw; four sisters, Mrs. Carrie Bagby and Mrs. Ada Miner, both of Quapaw, Mrs. Virgie Grubb of Baxter Springs, and Mrs. Pauline Stoots, Picher Oklahoma, and two brothers, Edward Parker of Quapaw, and Harry Doolen, of Wichita Kansas.
