77 year old retired Picher Oklahoma miner, died shortly after noon Saturday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Troy Baker, in Cardin Oklahoma. A resident of Picher for about 25 years. he had been in ill health for two months. Survivors, besides Mrs. Baker, are another daughter, Mrs. Iris Musgrove, Dexter Missouri; two sisters, Mrs. Lou Forrest, Duncan Oklahoma, and Mrs. Ella Woodard, Wolf City Texas; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Osborne was a member of the Baptist church at Drewer Oklahoma. Arrangements will be announced by the Goodson-Durnil funeral home, Picher.

Funeral services for John F. Osborne, 77 year old retired miner, will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Cardin Christian church. The Rev. George Potter and the Rev. J. W. Umphries will officiate. Pallbearers will be John Basnett, Wesley Hemphill, Guy Pierce, Herbert George, Olin Pryor and Lawrence Voyles. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami, under direction of Goodson-Durnil funeral home.
